DAY 10 – KLAMATH FALLS, OR
DAY 9 – GRANTS PASS / KLAMATH FALLS, OR
Day 9 was a day of travel from Grants Pass to Klamath Falls. We took our time leaving Grants Pass, making a much needed stop at DB (Thanks Sean for the hook up!). This DB we went to you actually get to sit down inside. After DB we went over to Applegate Christian Fellowship to have our devotions on the Amphitheater. After this we headed up to a lake for some swimming and then on to Klamath Falls were we ate dinner and had a time of worship and prayer with the Pastor and some of the youth.
DAY 8 – GRANTS PASS, OR
Again today we had the opportunity to lead in VBS for CC Grants Pass. The students Led in games, crafts, & the bible study. It has been so awesome to see them serve the body of Christ. I am so thankful for the opportunities the Lord has given us.
After VBS we hit the local parks. First stop was the Skate Park. We performed our skits and began to share with the youth in the park. The Lord moved and 4 people came to Christ. & we were able to plant many, many seeds. After we finished at the Skate Park we journeyed down to the river park where we talked with many, many more people. All in all we spoke with around 30 plus people yesterday!
After outreach we came back to the house we are staying at and had a time of fellowship with the Youth Pastor and the family we are staying with. We played some Frisbee football, went hiking and had a time of worship and prayer.
Truly the Lord has blessed our time here in Grants Pass.
DAY 7 – GRANTS PASS, OR
So day 7 brought us the opportunity to help lead VBS at CC Grants Pass. Students have done an awesome job! They jumped right in and just started loving and serving the kids. Last night we had the chance to join CC Grants Pass for service. Troy was able to lead in worship, the Lord drew us into an awesome time of worship. After worship the students performed one of the dramas for the body. People where blown away by the intensity of the drama, and I have to say it was the best they have ever done the drama.
Today we will be leading VBS and then having a long afternoon of park ministry! Thanks for all your prayers!
DAY 6 – GRANTS PASS, OR
Day 6 I have to say was a highlight for me. We were asked by CC Grants Pass to help with the Love Song concert. It is awesome how the Lord has given us different opportunities to serve. As we were there greeting people, taking tickets, ushering and acting as counselors that I saw how the Lord wants to raise up another “young” generation to be His servants in the last days. Who knows maybe we can be apart of the next “Jesus Movement”. I know that He is using us in more ways than I could have imagined.
DAY 5 – ALBANY, OR
Today started with a long morning and afternoon at the local skate park. Though the atmosphere was tough, the Lord allowed us to plant a lot of seeds, and also to see a few make commitments.
The highlight of the day was when we went out this evening. We went to the first park were we were not really accepted, so we did as Jesus said and threw our nets on the other side, and the Lord filled the net with 6 people who gave there lives to Christ tonight. God is good, what a great day. It is always cool when the Lord just blesses you with an opportunity to lead people to Him!
Please pray for the 8 people today that they would get plugged in and grow in Christ. Also, please pray for our trip to Grants Pass tomorrow. The Lord has more for us to do. Miss you all, your students are all awesome!
DAY 3 & 4 – ALBANY, OR
Day 3 brought a long day of travel. We traveled from Red Bluff, CA to Albany, OR. Basically we drove the entire state of Oregon in one day… By the way the students did awesome, of course they slept the whole way. The leaders on the other hand were a little delirious, but what can you expect from a diet of beef jerky, sun flower seeds and coke/diet coke (okay, so the jerky and sun flower seeds were me!).
Saturday we had an awesome night of worship. We spent a good hour hour and a half in just a time of worship and prayer. The Lord showed up in an amazing way! We all worshiped, cried, & asked God to pour out His spirit on us and the city of Albany.
Sunday morning we joined CC Albany for 2 services. We heard and awesome message from Pastor Ron out of Genesis 39. We learned that things in life are not always fair, but the Lord uses them for the best.
Sunday night we joined up with a home fellowship at Pastor Tak’s house. We took a deeper look at Genesis 39. All of the students engaged in the study. What an awesome day! Tomorrow will be a full day of ministry. Please keep us in your prayers!
DAY 2 – RED BLUFF, CA
Day 2 brought a chance to serve doing some comunity service. We headed to the mountains and to an apple orchard owned by a family that atttends CC Red Bluff, the Lau’s. The Lau’s were gracious enough to open there home to us and feed us an awesome pancake breakfast, before we headed out to the orchard to thin trees. It was a cool to see how the Lord used us today to be His hands and feet as we served in this way.
After dinner we headed out for an evening of outreach. The first outreach was in the parking lot of Rayle’s. We performed our dramas serveral times and had opportunity to talk with a few people. After the Rayle’s stop we headed over to River Park and performed our dramas and talked with nurmerous people. All in all our time in Red Bluff was awesome.
Thank You CC Red Bluff! Truly you have shown us what was spoken about Wednesday evening in 3 John. You ministered to us traveling ministers…. you are to be commended. Thank you for all your hospitality and awesome food! Thanks especially to Del for all your hard work. We look forward to a “larger” outreach next year!
DAY 1 – RED BLUFF, CA
Day 1 was a full day of ministry at the local skate park. We plowed hard ground, experienced some rejection, but the Holy Spirit gave the strength to persevere and the walls came down. We were able to minister to around 15 teenage guys, who were willing to listen to a gospel message. Seed were planted!
After the skate park we ventured over to a convalescent home and shared our dramas and the gospel with the residents. All of the students engaged the people and one person gave there life to Christ.
